From Start-up to Leader -- The Development of Dalong Commercial Vehicle

Founded in 2008, Shanghai Dalong Commercial Vehicle Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a pioneer and benchmark enterprise in the field of high-end customized commercial vehicle modification in China. For more than ten years, Dalong commercial vehicles have been focusing on the in-depth modification and intelligent upgrading of imported chassis (such as Mercedes-Benz V-Class, Spint, Volkswagen Matvey, Toyota Alpha, etc.). With the self-developed aviation seat system, the whole vehicle lightweight interior integration technology and the environmental protection NVH mute project in line with the national six standards, Dalong commercial vehicles have gradually grown into the leading brand of customized services for domestic commercial vehicles.

, the company started with a small modified workshop, relying on accurate insight into customer needs and extreme process reputation, quickly accumulated the first batch of corporate customers in the Yangtze River Delta region. In 2014, Dalong built an intelligent modification base covering an area of 12,000 square meters and passed ISO 9001 quality management system certification. In 2017, we will launch the "Longjiang" series of modular modification platforms to realize digital management of the whole process from design, production to delivery. In 2021, we will join hands with Ningde Times to lay out an electric business travel solution and successfully deliver the first batch of pure electric business reception vehicles equipped with lithium iron phosphate dual-mode power system. In 2023, dalong commercial vehicles were selected into the list of small and medium-sized enterprises of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and completed round B of financing, accelerating the layout of 12 direct experience centers nationwide.

At the product level, Dalong adheres to the customization concept of "one car, one plan", covering four application scenarios: government reception, corporate executive commuting, medical transfer, and RV life. Its star model, Longyu Xingyao Edition, is equipped with panoramic skylight, 5G on-board WiFi, infrared body temperature monitoring and AI voice interaction system, and has served many of the world's top 500 headquarters in China and provincial government fleets. In addition, Dalong has continued to invest in research and development, applying for 67 patents in the past three years, including 21 invention patents, leading the drafting of the "Technical Specifications for Commercial Vehicles for Passenger Car Modification" group standard (T/CAAMTB 45-2022).

Facing the future, Dalong Commercial Vehicle has put forward the strategy of "Smart Travel and Symbiosis". It plans to build a AI-driven flexible modification production line by 2025, and jointly build a joint laboratory of intelligent cockpit with universities to promote the autonomy and scene innovation of China's high-end business travel equipment.
